Recently, most of the wordpress users facing the malware code problems (really frustrating experience to remove the iframe and dcbase code from the index.php across the blog folders (wp-admin, wp-content, themes, even main folders with different phps) - wordpress has come out with newer version (2..8.6) which has solved to some extent, but if you have not changed your FTP password, you are still prone to get affected.

Malwarebytes’ flagship application Anti-Malware is a shareware malware-removal tool. The principle difference between the free and premium version of the application is real-time monitoring. If you don’t need active scanning against threats, the free version uses the same database and does an admirable job ferreting out infections.
4. HijackThis – Windows, Freeware)
Hijacthis simply generates a list of things that could have been potentially altered or tampered with by spyware, malware, or other malicious programs.
