WP THEMES PLUGINS WIDGETS

I have two blogs on Blogger with extensive archives. I want to shift them both to wordpress. Perhaps not a dot.com for now, so I will host them on wordpress only… it’s moving from myblog.blogspot.com to myblog.wordpress.com.
I want to shift with archives.
1. Can the whole archive be imported from Blogger to Wordpress? Or do I have to do it manually?
2. If the archives can’t be imported, is there an easy way?

I have a word press blog and a website. These are two distinct sites. The website is written in PHP and i am trying to get the latest say 5 posts from the blog to appear in a short format in the site? Any suggestions??
Please help!
